Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Colleagues,
I’m Brooke Tucker and I’m running for District Court Judge. About 40 years ago, I was born here in Genesee County and I have called our community home ever since. I was raised in Fenton but my family owned a business in Swartz Creek, so I pretty much grew up there, too. I’m proud to live here.
My family worked hard, as many in our community do, and I was blessed to be a first generation college student and the first attorney in my family. I have always known the value of tireless work and integrity. I have been practicing law for over 12 years. Working as a law clerk downtown Flint for Judge Fullerton introduced me to the practice of law here and to many attorneys who I have come to call friends. I later worked in the Genesee County Prosecutor’s office where I was promoted to Senior Assistant Prosecutor. My current role is as a municipal attorney. I represent the County, including the Prosecutor’s Office, Judges, the Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Senior Services, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and many more. Among other duties, my work includes contracts, policies, and litigation at the state and federal levels.
If elected, I will maintain the same belief I’ve always had: that tax payers deserve public servants who work hard, day in and day out, to make our community a better, safer place. I have experience with every type of law that the District Court handles and am prepared to take on the work of the District Court. I know the law and will follow the law. I will work efficiently and will embrace the available technology to move cases through the court system in a timely and organized way. I look forward to earning your vote.

Currently defends Oakland County as a Senior Assistant Corporation Counsel Attorney, consults with the Prosecutor’s office in Flint, and does contract and pro bono/volunteer work in Genesee County.
